High Notes and Low Notes

We had a look at how pitch rises with tension, or tightness.
First of all Mrs B had stretched 2 rubber bands through an open box. Then she attached a different weight to each rubber band.
We had to predict which rubber band would sound higher than the other. 15% thought the light weight (A)  would while the other 75% of the class thought that the heavier weight (B) would- and they were right- as Jacob said" the heavier one made the higher sound because it was being stretched tighter".
