Catapault- BP Challenge

Mrs Brieseman gave us a challenge to make a catapault for a very light cane ball using the following resources

• 2 size 64 (89 mm long x 6 mm wide x 1 mm thick) rubber bands
• 1 x A4 card
• 4 sheets A4 photocopy paper (or 2 sheets A3 paper)
• 4 iceblock sticks
• 4 drinking straws
• 2 paper clips
• 1 x 10 m roll sellotape
• scissors (for construction only) 

Once we completed this challenge (with various results!) we were given more resources to help us understand the science behind our designs- extra large iceblock sticks, stronger card, more straws, and heavier balls.
